Configure your Google Analytics reports

The Report Configuration tab you see now is the first tab in the worksheet where you configure the data you want to extract. I highly recommend you get familiar with this feature by watching this short five-minute video from Google that outlines how to create reports from Google Analytics in Google Sheets. Here is a list of the fields used in this report, you can get a full overview of what they all mean and what metrics you can use in them here:.

The name you set when creating the report. This can be changed, but keep in mind that when you run a report, the tab containing the report will use the name of the report.


category:
This will automatically fill in "core" for you, which means we are pulling the core from the reporting API.

look:
It also automatically fills in the profile ID you set when creating the report.

start date:
To compare the last 30 days to the same 30 days last year, we set the start date to 395daysAgo.
